The story of Tech Continuum begins in a very different technology world. When Deepak began his career, computing resources were expensive, ecosystems were siloed, and every platform had its own priesthood of experts. Mainframes dominated enterprise computing. Data warehouses held the intelligence of large organizations. Unix systems ran the critical workloads.
Over the next 27 years, he worked hands-on through every transition that reshaped the industry — from mainframes to enterprise platforms, from proprietary databases to open source, from on-premise to cloud, from monolithic systems to Kubernetes, and now from cloud-native to AI-native infrastructure.
What those years taught him was not which technologies win. It was why they win — and what separates organizations that navigate transitions successfully from those that are left behind. Every transition is driven by the same underlying forces: economics shift, standards form, and powerful capabilities become accessible to more organizations at lower cost. Understanding these forces is what Tech Continuum is built on.
